Something Curious in the Poros.

Long ago in the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, when all thought the power of the ring had ended, and when Gollom had bitten off Frodos finger and was pushed into the fire, and the ring had fallen down with him, all of the people of Middle Earth were about to find out just how wrong they were. When Gollom bit off Frodo's finger no one noticed as a rat came out of hiding and snatched up Frodo's finger and took it back to its home on the river Gurthrant which comes from the Sea of Nurnen. This rat was disgusted with his meal so he pushed it into the river which tuns in to the river Poros. As the finger floated down the river Poros, it was about to go  under the Crossings of Poros. An elf (thinking it was it fish) shot at it, missing it by a centimeter. But, by doing so, the arrow's force pushed the finger up onto the shore. The elf wanted to know what it was so he crossed the bridge and walked slowly toward the finger - which by now had turned gross due to the claws and slobber of the rat and the muck and filth of the river Gurthrant (as you can see in the photo). The elf picked it up and felt a surge of power unlike anything he had ever felt before. The elf did not know, but this finger was used and still had remnants of the Ring of Power. And as some of you might know, Elves are already powerful. So, even the remnant of the Ring of Power in the hands of an elf can be a dangerous thing....

Not needed

I am a dictionary. My life is actually really important. I help all ages of people understand and improve their knowledge of English.  I do so because having a wide vocabulary will help people to be an intelligent and successful man or woman. My life may be important, but over the last twenty years, people have invented extreme technology called computers. Computers have a thing called the internet and with it people can type a word and it will give a definition. It amazes me how much our society has become addicted to the technology scientists have constructed. I know that you might argue that that the internet is helping build people's knowledge of English, and that might be true. But the world I am trying to help is not so lazy that it would sit down and let a metal box do the work. So now I am waiting and hoping for someone, with the thought in their head, "I need you to improve my English" to come and get me.

Hi, my name is sock. I know, sock is a horrible name for a sock. I have a brother who is also named sock and we go everywhere together
My brother and I live in a store right now, but someday we will be bought and then, here it comes-we get put on real live feet! But then again there is the part where we get dirty and have to go into a big black cave with Mr. Underpants and spin and spin and spin in really cold water and by the time we're done spinning, the water is kind of gross. But after that we go into a 100 degrees white  cave and spin some more, it feals like Paradise. The only bad thing is that we still have to be with Mr. Underpants..
After that experience, My brother and I get tossed  into a drawer; but we still have to be with Mr. Underpants!
So maybe I don't wont to be bought. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........

looking for something good to read?

In the book I am reading called The Last Dragon, there is an Elf that, through the story, realizes that he is the last Elf. He finds his purpose in life is to rid the earth of darkness, evil, and the ignorance of people who not only don't know how to read, write, or even speak correctly, but also people who don't even want to.           Sometimes all it takes for a person to become something great is a story, and The Last Dragon is one of those storys. If you need an encouraging story then I recommend this one. Enjoy, readers!!!!!
